The Mayor of Estella-Lizarra, Marta Ruiz de Alda, accompanied by Councillor for Culture Ana Duarte and Councillor for Tourism Cristina Pérez González, visited the Museum Ciriza Oteiza this week to see first-hand the progress of a project set to become one of the city's leading cultural landmarks.

The creation of the Museum Ciriza Oteiza also marks the opening of a new space for discovering, studying and bringing the artistic journeys of Antonio Oteiza and Carlos Ciriza into dialogue.

On a significant day for the history of art and culture, the ceremony to lay the foundation stone of the future Museum Ciriza Oteiza took place, a project supported by the Capuchin Friars community. This space promises to become an international cultural landmark, housing one of the most significant collections of works by the renowned artists Antonio Oteiza and Carlos Ciriza.
